After taking down the ball on Caatiba MZC's corner Gaby Milito fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Epifanio Bermund quite easily take care of the ball. Niceto Ihazintu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 6th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 8 minutes into the match, ASDFGHJKLÑ FC's goalkeeper Epifanio Bermund had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Niceto Ihazintu. Delfim Bertassi was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. 13 minutes into the match, Caatiba MZC's Niceto Ihazintu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Epifanio Bermund narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 16th minute, ASDFGHJKLÑ FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Niceto Ihazintu fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Niceto Ihazintu blasted a shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Epifanio Bermund having to make a save. Epifanio Bermund made an important save on a dangerous shot by Niceto Ihazintu in the 17th minute. Octavio Santo kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. ASDFGHJKLÑ FC's Epifanio Bermund played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Niceto Ihazintu in the 20th minute of play. ASDFGHJKLÑ FC's Epifanio Bermund proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to save ASDFGHJKLÑ FC from getting a goal against them. After 23 minutes, Anier Illan mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the ASDFGHJKLÑ FC and the Caatiba MZC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The audience thought a goal was coming when Niceto Ihazintu got free with Epifanio Bermund in the 25th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Epifanio Bermund took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Niceto Ihazintu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Niceto Ihazintu might have been able to make a better finish in the 28th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Epifanio Bermund. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Niceto Ihazintu ran back to his position shaking his head. After 30 minutes of play, Caatiba MZC's Niceto Ihazintu made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Epifanio Bermund was left in no man's land by his defense there! Niceto Ihazintu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ulises Bernal got a throw-in 36 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Octavio Santo. The supporters of Caatiba MZC booed when ASDFGHJKLÑ FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ulises Bernal didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, ASDFGHJKLÑ FC's Epifanio Bermund got control of the ball when Niceto Ihazintu tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 42 played minutes Caatiba MZC got a freekick which was hit by Rodriguinho Linhares. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, Niceto Ihazintu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Caatiba MZC's supporters rose to their feet, but Niceto Ihazintu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Epifanio Bermund breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gaspar Ralondo to make the kick off. If Niceto Ihazintu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Epifanio Bermund showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Niceto Ihazintu, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. 58 minutes into the match, ASDFGHJKLÑ FC's goal looked a bit too open when Rodriguinho Linhares came free, but Epifanio Bermund reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Epifanio Bermund was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. ASDFGHJKLÑ FC's Ulises Bernal got his second yellow card of the match in the 73rd minute. The referee ordered Ulises Bernal off the ground. Ulises Bernal hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. Epifanio Bermund showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Niceto Ihazintu in the 75th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in ASDFGHJKLÑ FC's zone, Rodriguinho Linhares stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Epifanio Bermund came out of the goal and Rodriguinho Linhares tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Niceto Ihazintu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The supporters of Caatiba MZC booed when ASDFGHJKLÑ FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position.
