After 5 minutes Flores da Cunha - RS's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Emil Hermansson who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Emil Hermansson almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Flores da Cunha - RS's Ricardinho Moura did a great save. In the 20th minute Kevin Näfver shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ricardinho Moura saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sebastian Wacherhausen's late challenge caught a Flores da Cunha - RS's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sebastian Wacherhausen helped the player get up and apologised. After 22 played minutes The Northmen Army got a freekick which was hit by Sebastian Wacherhausen. 25 minutes into the match, The Northmen Army's goalkeeper Robin Bäckström had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Vinícius Alves. In the 26th minute, Adriano Araújo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 29th minute, Claudinei Pernambucano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kevin Näfver kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Hugo Holmberg's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ricardinho Moura was relentless in the 39th minute of the game. Ricardinho Moura took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kevin Näfver, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ricardinho Moura came out of the goal in the 43rd minute to try and stop a shot by The Northmen Army's Hugo Holmberg. But to his dismay, Hugo Holmberg quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. After a defensive mix-up in Flores da Cunha - RS's zone, Kevin Näfver stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ricardinho Moura came out of the goal and Kevin Näfver tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After the first half The Northmen Army were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Geovanni Pontes was the one to do the kick off. Robin Bäckström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jairo de Sena, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hugo Holmberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Hugo Holmberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Ricardinho Moura tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 61st minute of the match, Kevin Näfver tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Ricardinho Moura saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Göran Falck sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ricardinho Moura showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Göran Falck, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. Hugo Holmberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Ricardinho Moura tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of The Northmen Army booed when Flores da Cunha - RS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Valdomiro de Sena didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kevin Näfver recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as The Northmen Army's Kevin Näfver slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ricardinho Moura. That made the score 0-4 after 82 minutes of play. With an all-out effort, The Northmen Army's Ricardinho Moura threw himself towards the right post 86 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Kevin Näfver, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Vinícius Alves hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. Ricardinho Moura was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Vilhelm Vallander showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-5 in the 93 minute of play. The Northmen Army's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
