Florentino Vermudo was out of position in the 5 minute of play, and Emil Björnberg capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Emil Björnberg really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Palermo AFC's Octavio Frascuelo got a good chance for a goal in the 9th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 10 played minutes Tallboda Gunners got a freekick which was hit by Jens-Åke Svanér. Karl-Magnus Hult took the ball and in the 12 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Florentino Vermudo. Florentino Vermudo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Emil Björnberg hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. Leopoldo Lluques fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Viggo Martinsson having to interfere. Viggo Martinsson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Leopoldo Lluques's shot from short distance in the 18th minute. Viggo Martinsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Andres Leoncio, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. When Jens-Åke Svanér fell near the penalty area in the 20th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tallboda Gunners's protests and gave Jens-Åke Svanér a yellow card for diving instead. Jens-Åke Svanér kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. In the 21st minute of the match Anselmo Astudillo sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Viggo Martinsson skillfully saved the ball. When Palermo AFC's Leopoldo Lluques in the 31st minute got a chance for a shot 31st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Tallboda Gunners's goalie prevented a goal. Andres Leoncio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Viggo Martinsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 40th minute Leopoldo Lluques shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Viggo Martinsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Palermo AFC getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Elvio Olo hit a great ball. Damian Mincho's late challenge caught a Tallboda Gunners's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Damian Mincho helped the player get up and apologised. In the 48th match minute, Palermo AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Damian Mincho to maneuver through the defense. A hard shot by Torsten Eklund from long distance, 49 minutes into the match, got Florentino Vermudo's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Emil Björnberg to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute, Leopoldo Lluques hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Elvio Olo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Tallboda Gunners's zone, Andres Leoncio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Viggo Martinsson came out of the goal and Andres Leoncio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 64 minutes into the match, Tallboda Gunners's goal looked a bit too open when Elvio Olo came free, but Viggo Martinsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 65 minutes into the game, Karl-Magnus Hult cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Florentino Vermudo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 67 played minutes Tallboda Gunners got a freekick which was hit by Torsten Eklund. Florentino Vermudo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ernst Biörkman in the 70th minute of play. Viggo Martinsson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Leopoldo Lluques in the 74th minute. After having played for 75 minutes, Elvio Olo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Palermo AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Elvio Olo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Svante Josefsson fell near the penalty area in the 80th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tallboda Gunners's protests and gave Svante Josefsson a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Tallboda Gunners's Svante Josefsson got a free kick in the 80th minute. Tallboda Gunners's defense didn't have a chance, in the 85th minute, when Elvio Olo scored to the left of an out of position Viggo Martinsson, making the score, 3-2. 89 minutes into the game, Teodosio Elivareo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Palermo AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Tallboda Gunners the free kick. After 89 played minutes Palermo AFC got a freekick which was hit by Teodosio Elivareo. Palermo AFC's Florentino Vermudo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Karl-Magnus Hult in the 91st minute of play. Karl-Magnus Hult blasted a shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Florentino Vermudo having to make a save. In the 96th minute, Leopoldo Lluques reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Viggo Martinsson. The goal made the score 3-3. The Palermo AFC players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Tallboda Gunners from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
