Ernst Biörkman could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 15th minute of the match, but Ricardinho Moura made a huge save. The supporters of Tallboda Gunners booed when Flores da Cunha - RS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Paulo Renato Paraibano didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ricardinho Moura took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emil Björnberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Emil Björnberg really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. In the 25th minute Tallboda Gunners were awarded a corner. Torsten Eklund went to the cornerflag to take it. Tallboda Gunners's Torsten Eklund was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Ricardinho Moura in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vinícius Alves in the 27th minute of play forced Tallboda Gunners's goalkeeper Viggo Martinsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 30 played minutes Flores da Cunha - RS got a freekick which was hit by Geovanni Pontes. Ernst Biörkman's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Ricardinho Moura firmly grabbed it by the left post. Ernst Biörkman took the ball and in the 36 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ricardinho Moura. Ricardinho Moura dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Jairo de Sena kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. After 40 played minutes Flores da Cunha - RS got a freekick which was hit by Paulo Renato Paraibano. Torsten Eklund's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ricardinho Moura read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 41st minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Emil Björnberg made a kick off. After 52 played minutes Flores da Cunha - RS got a freekick which was hit by Roberto Maciel. In the 54th minute, Jens-Åke Svanér made a precise shot to the right of Ricardinho Moura. Flores da Cunha - RS's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. In the 59th minute Erik Magnusson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ricardinho Moura saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Flores da Cunha - RS getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Nuno Meira hit a great ball. Ernst Biörkman took the ball and in the 65 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ricardinho Moura. Ricardinho Moura dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-1. Viggo Martinsson came out of the goal in the 68th minute to try and stop a shot by Flores da Cunha - RS's Geovanni Pontes. But to his dismay, Geovanni Pontes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-2. Ricardinho Moura showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Erik Magnusson, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. Ricardinho Moura showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jens-Åke Svanér in the 74th minute of the match. Ricardinho Moura came out of the goal in the 76th minute to try and stop a shot by Tallboda Gunners's Ernst Biörkman. But to his dismay, Ernst Biörkman quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-2. Torsten Eklund's late challenge caught a Flores da Cunha - RS's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Torsten Eklund helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Tallboda Gunners getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Torsten Eklund hit a great ball. Tallboda Gunners's Viggo Martinsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jairo de Sena in the 83rd minute of play. After 84 played minutes Tallboda Gunners got a freekick which was hit by Valentin Skager. Viggo Martinsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jairo de Sena in the 87th minute of the match.
