That made the score 1-0 after 2 minutes of play. Ciriaco Cordarrell could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 10th minute of the match, but Roque Manni made a huge save. In the 11th minute of the game Edgardo Guib made a throw-in which Victoriano Xacintu played forward. 18 minutes into the match, SAN LORENZO FC's goal looked a bit too open when Elpidio Goito came free, but Julio Ferman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ciriaco Cordarrell got free with Roque Manni in the 20th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Ciriaco Cordarrell fell near the penalty area in the 22nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SAN LORENZO FC's protests and gave Ciriaco Cordarrell a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to SAN LORENZO FC getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Ciriaco Cordarrell hit a great ball. 24 minutes into the game, Ciriaco Cordarrell recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Roque Manni. Ciriaco Cordarrell showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. Edgardo Guib got a throw-in 27 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Leo Oxarra. Ciriaco Cordarrell could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 30th minute of the match, but Roque Manni made a huge save. A sloppy throw-in by Edgardo Guib in the 36th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by SAN LORENZO FC's Justino Iago. Ciriaco Cordarrell might have been able to make a better finish in the 40th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Roque Manni. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ciriaco Cordarrell ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 46th minute the ball was on its way in behind BICHO neuquino's goalkeeper Roque Manni, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ciriaco Cordarrell struck a weak shot in the 48th minute. Roque Manni didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SAN LORENZO FC. SAN LORENZO FC made a substitution. Diego Cresitobalo replaced Octavio Gonza.

In the 56th minute, Sergio Marchi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, Ciriaco Cordarrell managed to get in a good position for a shot. Roque Manni breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Pablo Michelini's late challenge caught a BICHO neuquino's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Pablo Michelini helped the player get up and apologised. After 61 played minutes SAN LORENZO FC got a freekick which was hit by Pablo Michelini. After 63 minutes, Justino Iago mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SAN LORENZO FC and the BICHO neuquino players grew even worse after the yellow card. Justino Iago kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, SAN LORENZO FC's Justino Iago got a free kick in the 65th minute. Froilan Jatsu took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 67th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Roque Manni. BICHO neuquino's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Roque Manni took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ciriaco Cordarrell, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 77 minutes into the match, BICHO neuquino's goal looked a bit too open when Ciriaco Cordarrell came free, but Roque Manni reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Ciriaco Cordarrell, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 78 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Roque Manni was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Sergio Marchi hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match.
