But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aziz Jimenez couldn't finish the play. 8 minutes into the match, Roncourt's Lv Xiao Zhi sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jon Calatayud narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Jon Calatayud showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aziz Jimenez, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. In the 13th minute the ball was on its way in behind ClUb DePoRtIvO LUGO's goalkeeper Jon Calatayud, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 14th minute of the match Roncourt got a corner. ClUb DePoRtIvO LUGO's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Thierry Lhermite ran over to the corner to take the kick. It was a well-played corner which Thibault Fuentes managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Jon Calatayud made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lv Xiao Zhi in the 16th minute of play. 18 minutes into the game, Greger Rosén threw the ball into play from the sideline. Roncourt's Florent Blanc quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lv Xiao Zhi in the 21st minute of play forced ClUb DePoRtIvO LUGO's goalkeeper Jon Calatayud to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thierry Lhermite kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. The referee felt a red card was in order, 26 minutes into the game, when Désiré Lemière put in a rough tackle. Roncourt's Erwin Petit was substituted for Aziz Jimenez. In a very dangerous position, a player in Roncourt fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 25th minute. Penalty! ClUb DePoRtIvO LUGO's Baltazar Fonticoba got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Florent Blanc kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Baltazar Fonticoba got free with Mounir Perry in the 37th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jon Calatayud took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Horácio Larreta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 41 minutes into the match, Horácio Larreta had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jon Calatayud. ClUb DePoRtIvO LUGO's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Horácio Larreta was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ildefonso Ucero stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Horácio Larreta hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. ClUb DePoRtIvO LUGO's attentive 麦鹰义 managed to snatch the ball when Florent Blanc made a throw-in in the 53rd minute of the game. If Horácio Larreta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Omar Florinio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Jon Calatayud tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 64th minute Baltazar Fonticoba shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mounir Perry saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jon Calatayud made a fantastic save in the 69th minute, when Lv Xiao Zhi sent off a good shot on target. Lv Xiao Zhi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 71st minute of the match, but Jon Calatayud made a huge save. ClUb DePoRtIvO LUGO's Baltazar Fonticoba got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. ClUb DePoRtIvO LUGO made a substitution. Rey Northe replaced Baltazar Fonticoba. After 80 played minutes Roncourt got a freekick which was hit by Florent Blanc. If Rey Northe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lv Xiao Zhi got free with Jon Calatayud in the 86th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Lv Xiao Zhi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Roncourt's Omar Florinio in the 90th minute got a chance for a shot 90th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye ClUb DePoRtIvO LUGO's goalie prevented a goal. After a defensive mix-up in ClUb DePoRtIvO LUGO's zone, Omar Florinio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jon Calatayud came out of the goal and Omar Florinio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. ClUb DePoRtIvO LUGO were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Roncourt for a fine match.
