The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Izar Camaño blasted a shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Sebastian Sandberg having to make a save. The supporters of Degerfors IF booed when Couto Mixto F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Radomil Pilitowski didn't get a good kick on the ball. 14 minutes into the match, Degerfors IF's Åke Fors sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Christopher Langford narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Gabri Veiga kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. Degerfors IF's Sebastian Sandberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eduino Cordoba in the 20th minute of play. After 21 minutes, Åke Fors mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Degerfors IF and the Couto Mixto F.C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 21st minute, Åke Fors hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Degerfors IF's Sebastian Sandberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eduino Cordoba in the 25th minute of play. Fredrik Isak kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. Sebastian Sandberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Valentín Castellano in the 28th minute of play. In the 31st minute the ball was on its way in behind Couto Mixto F.C.'s goalkeeper Christopher Langford, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 42 minutes into the game, Degerfors IF's Anthon Eliasson nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Christopher Langford made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. In the 44th minute, Valentín Castellano got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The wind increased when Eduino Cordoba made the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute Nereo Tobia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sebastian Sandberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The corner ended in Izar Camaño almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Degerfors IF's Sebastian Sandberg did a great save. Izar Camaño did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-1 to the left of a surprised Sebastian Sandberg 53 minutes into the match. Christopher Langford showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Åke Fors in the 60th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 64th minute, Åke Fors managed to get in a good position for a shot. Degerfors IF's supporters rose to their feet, but Åke Fors was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Christopher Langford breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Couto Mixto F.C. made a substitution. Perfecto Rodríguez replaced Valentín Castellano. When Anthon Eliasson came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the Degerfors IF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Anthon Eliasson couldn't finish the play. Christopher Langford showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Åke Fors in the 75th minute of the match. Gabriel-Omar Bati's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sebastian Sandberg read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 77th minute of play. In the 81stth minute of the game Eduino Cordoba who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Degerfors IF's Sebastian Sandberg was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 83 minutes of play, Couto Mixto F.C.'s Gabriel-Omar Bati made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sebastian Sandberg was left in no man's land by his defense there! Couto Mixto F.C.'s Christopher Langford played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anthon Eliasson in the 87th minute of play. Sebastian Sandberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gabriel-Omar Bati in the 90th minute of play. Gabriel-Omar Bati struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Sebastian Sandberg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Couto Mixto F.C.. Gabriel-Omar Bati's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sebastian Sandberg read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 93rd minute of play. The Degerfors IF supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Couto Mixto F.C.'s performance. The match ended with a win for Couto Mixto F.C..
