Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

SAN LORENZO FC's Pablo Michelini was substituted for Carlos Netto. Roberto Monserrat's late challenge caught a Sundborn IF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Roberto Monserrat helped the player get up and apologised. SAN LORENZO FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sundborn IF the free kick. The supporters of Sundborn IF booed when SAN LORENZO FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pablo Michelini didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stellan Wallmark in the 93rd minute of play forced SAN LORENZO FC's goalkeeper Julio Ferman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 97 minutes into the game, Sundborn IF's Stellan Wallmark nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot.
