If Lv Xiao Zhi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. With a little luck, Rot-Weiss-Essen's Uwe Ziege got control of the ball when Lv Xiao Zhi tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to Rot-Weiss-Essen getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Maurizio Brink hit a great ball. When Roncourt's Lv Xiao Zhi in the 10th minute got a chance for a shot 10th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Rot-Weiss-Essen's goalie prevented a goal. After a rather tough play, Rot-Weiss-Essen's Maurizio Brink got a free kick in the 13th minute. Rot-Weiss-Essen's Uwe Ziege played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lv Xiao Zhi in the 14th minute of play. Lv Xiao Zhi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. With a little luck, Rot-Weiss-Essen's Uwe Ziege got control of the ball when Lv Xiao Zhi tried to sneak it across the goal line. Lv Xiao Zhi received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Uwe Ziege came out and tried to block the shot, but Lv Xiao Zhi slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 18th minute. Uwe Ziege showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lv Xiao Zhi, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lv Xiao Zhi in the 33rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Uwe Ziege prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Lv Xiao Zhi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Uwe Ziege tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 40 minutes into the match, Roncourt's Lv Xiao Zhi sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Uwe Ziege narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Aziz Jimenez could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 42nd minute of the match, but Uwe Ziege made a huge save. In the 44th minute there was a penalty for Roncourt. Lv Xiao Zhi stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Uwe Ziege. 4-0. In the 46th match minute, Rot-Weiss-Essen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Elmar Assing to maneuver through the defense. Aziz Jimenez had several of the Rot-Weiss-Essen's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 48 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 5-0 score and a disappointed Uwe Ziege as he didn't even see the shot coming. Af the end of the first half the score was 5-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Erkan Fostiropoulos made the kick off in the second half. Lv Xiao Zhi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 55th minute Lv Xiao Zhi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Uwe Ziege saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 57th minute, Lv Xiao Zhi left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Roncourt fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lv Xiao Zhi in the 61st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Uwe Ziege saved Rot-Weiss-Essen from getting behind. Gunther Schößler hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. The supporters of Roncourt booed when Rot-Weiss-Essen was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gunther Schößler didn't get a good kick on the ball. Uwe Ziege didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Lv Xiao Zhi went, in the 64th minute, to the upper right corner, 7-0 was the resulting score. Roncourt made a substitution. Jean-Marc Kazmierczak replaced Lv Xiao Zhi. Roncourt's Rayan Boutard was substituted for Thibault Fuentes. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jean-Marc Kazmierczak in the 71st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Uwe Ziege prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 72 minutes Rot-Weiss-Essen's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Thierry Lhermite who took care of the corner kick. Roncourt's Thierry Lhermite was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Uwe Ziege in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Maurizio Brink hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. Gunther Schößler made in the 83rd minute of the game a quick throw-in and Maurizio Brink immediately put the ball in play. Uwe Ziege took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aziz Jimenez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match clock showed 86 minutes, the score became 8-0 when Jean-Marc Kazmierczak sped through Rot-Weiss-Essen's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Uwe Ziege. In the 90th minute, Jean-Marc Kazmierczak got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jean-Marc Kazmierczak sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 93rd minute Aziz Jimenez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Uwe Ziege saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
