The supporters of Strömsbro IF booed when 【E ➣ Gatorei 1976 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Segundo Ilixo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Maximiliano Sayveon hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. Cosme Jago made a fantastic save in the 31st minute, when Börge Kristiansson sent off a good shot on target. In the 37th minute, Strömsbro IF's Börge Kristiansson ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Cosme Jago. Cosme Jago yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. After having played for 40 minutes, Segundo Ilixo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. 【E ➣ Gatorei 1976's supporters crossed their fingers, but Segundo Ilixo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Leo Nyman's late challenge caught a 【E ➣ Gatorei 1976's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Leo Nyman helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of 【E ➣ Gatorei 1976 booed when Strömsbro IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ivar Albohm showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Cosme Jago was a little too slow when Börge Kristiansson got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 45th minute. The score was now 2-1. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Aquilino Restu in the 53rd minute of play forced Strömsbro IF's goalkeeper Ivar Albohm to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ivar Albohm made a fantastic save in the 56th minute, when Venancio Guib sent off a good shot on target. Cosme Jago didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Börge Kristiansson went, in the 57th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. 61 minutes into the match, Börge Kristiansson had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cosme Jago. 【E ➣ Gatorei 1976's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Börge Kristiansson was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-1. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Strömsbro IF had won after a very even match.
