With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rodrigo-Sebastian Palacio in the 40th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Crişan Taffarel saved Ciclista FC from getting behind. 42 minutes into the match, Ciclista FC's goal looked a bit too open when Octavio Gonzo came free, but Crişan Taffarel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 43rd minute, Rodrigo-Sebastian Palacio made a precise shot to the right of Crişan Taffarel. Ciclista FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Serafin Cidro during the 47th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rolando Jax in the 56th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Crişan Taffarel saved Ciclista FC from getting behind. In the 58th minute, Rolando Jax ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Crişan Taffarel was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. Crişan Taffarel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Octavio Gonzo in the 62nd minute of play. Rodrigo-Sebastian Palacio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Crişan Taffarel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Manuel Hug kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Octavio Gonzo in the 67th minute of play forced Ciclista FC's goalkeeper Crişan Taffarel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Inocencio Veronica took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cenan Savlet, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ciclista FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Rodrigo-Sebastian Palacio was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
