In the 5thth minute of the game Cenan Savlet who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Roceira SC's Marcelinho Barral was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 10 minutes, Cenan Savlet mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ciclista FC and the Roceira SC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Ciclista FC's Cenan Savlet got a free kick in the 10th minute. Crişan Taffarel made a fantastic save in the 11th minute, when Michel Haaland sent off a good shot on target. With a little luck, Ciclista FC's Crişan Taffarel got control of the ball when Michel Haaland tried to sneak it across the goal line. Crişan Taffarel stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Hulk Speed's shot from short distance in the 13th minute. In the 15th minute, Bo Dogel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match clock showed 17 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Michel Haaland sped through Ciclista FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Crişan Taffarel. Ciclista FC's Crişan Taffarel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ksawery Winnicki in the 25th minute of play. Crişan Taffarel made an important save on a dangerous shot by Michel Haaland in the 26th minute. If Aílton Damião had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Crişan Taffarel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hulk Speed in the 31st minute of play. Roceira SC's Michel Haaland got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Roceira SC booed when Ciclista FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Manuel Hug didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ciclista FC's Crişan Taffarel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ksawery Winnicki in the 38th minute of play. 39 minutes into the game, Roceira SC's Ksawery Winnicki nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Crişan Taffarel made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. 44 minutes into the match, Roceira SC's goal looked a bit too open when Cenan Savlet came free, but Marcelinho Barral reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marcelinho Barral didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cenan Savlet went, in the 44th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Cenan Savlet made a kick off. Hulk Speed's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Crişan Taffarel read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 51st minute of play. In the 54th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ciclista FC's goalkeeper Crişan Taffarel, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 55 minutes, Andrés Maraschin mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Roceira SC and the Ciclista FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Roceira SC getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Andrés Maraschin hit a great ball. After 60 minutes of play, Ciclista FC's Cenan Savlet made it 3-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Marcelinho Barral was left in no man's land by his defense there! Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Hulk Speed in the 63rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Crişan Taffarel prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The corner led Roceira SC's Ksawery Winnicki to fire away a dangerous shot which Crişan Taffarel despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Crişan Taffarel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hulk Speed, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. In the 78th minute, Michel Haaland got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Michel Haaland sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Crişan Taffarel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ksawery Winnicki, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Marcelinho Barral made a fantastic save in the 85th minute, when Bo Dogel sent off a good shot on target. 88 minutes into the game, Michel Haaland cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-2. Crişan Taffarel was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 95th minute, Ksawery Winnicki left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Roceira SC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-2.
