In the 3rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Ciclista FC's goalkeeper Crişan Taffarel, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet as Don Cabezon kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Crişan Taffarel. That made the score 1-0 in the 3 minute of play. In the 6th minute, Ardy Pakubuwono got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Cenan Savlet's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dacian Nițescu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 7th minute of play. Ciclista FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Amador Francesco in the 9th minute. A nice corner shot did that Amador Francesco got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Dacian Nițescu quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 16th minute of the game Isidro Cordara made a throw-in which Justo Osorio played forward. After 16 played minutes Ciclista FC got a freekick which was hit by Isidro Cordara. Don Cabezon's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Crişan Taffarel read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 18th minute of play. AL TAQWA VILLAGE FC's Ardy Pakubuwono was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Crişan Taffarel in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After 22 minutes, Isidro Cordara mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ciclista FC and the AL TAQWA VILLAGE FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. An unexpectedly hard shot by Don Cabezon in the 23rd minute of play forced Ciclista FC's goalkeeper Crişan Taffarel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Crişan Taffarel came out of the goal in the 26th minute to try and stop a shot by AL TAQWA VILLAGE FC's Don Cabezon. But to his dismay, Don Cabezon quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. AL TAQWA VILLAGE FC's Dacian Nițescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cenan Savlet in the 31st minute of play. After 32 minutes AL TAQWA VILLAGE FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Amador Francesco who took care of the corner kick. Ciclista FC's Amador Francesco was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Dacian Nițescu in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Ciclista FC's Crişan Taffarel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Don Cabezon in the 37th minute of play. With a little luck, Ciclista FC's Crişan Taffarel got control of the ball when Don Cabezon tried to sneak it across the goal line. Don Cabezon received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Crişan Taffarel came out and tried to block the shot, but Don Cabezon slotted it home off the left post making it 3-0 in the 45th minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

After some careless play in the Ciclista FC defense, Don Cabezon kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Crişan Taffarel. The Ciclista FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Crişan Taffarel should have stopped the shot. Dacian Nițescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cenan Savlet, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 61st minute Ardy Pakubuwono shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Crişan Taffarel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 67th minute, Don Cabezon made a precise shot to the right of Crişan Taffarel. Ciclista FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0. In the 69th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ciclista FC's goalkeeper Crişan Taffarel, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. AL TAQWA VILLAGE FC made a substitution. Samuel Mambru replaced Freddy Sazon. AL TAQWA VILLAGE FC's Jajat Mustari was substituted for Ardy Pakubuwono. AL TAQWA VILLAGE FC's Dewa Warauw was substituted for Don Cabezon. After 79 minutes AL TAQWA VILLAGE FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. Crişan Taffarel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dewa Warauw, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. 88 minutes into the game, Dewa Warauw cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-0. Crişan Taffarel was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 91 played minutes AL TAQWA VILLAGE FC got a freekick which was hit by Jajat Mustari. Cenan Savlet received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Dacian Nițescu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Jajat Mustari managed to get in a good position for a shot. AL TAQWA VILLAGE FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Jajat Mustari was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Crişan Taffarel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. AL TAQWA VILLAGE FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
