Tecka Viejo Nomás's Roberto Bonano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Octavio Gonzo in the 30th minute of play. Disappointed in the 0-5 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Paolo Bilintx made the kick off in the second half. After some careless play in the Tecka Viejo Nomás defense, Rolando Jax kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Roberto Bonano. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rolando Jax in the 65th minute of play forced Tecka Viejo Nomás's goalkeeper Roberto Bonano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 67th minute, Tecka Viejo Nomás's Alfonso Matthew seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Alfonso Matthew the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Tecka Viejo Nomás protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Alfonso Matthew had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. A collision led to Tecka Viejo Nomás getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Alfonso Matthew hit a great ball. When the match had gone on for 70 minutes, Rodrigo-Sebastian Palacio put it in 0-7 from a short distance just to the right of Roberto Bonano. In the 75th minute of the match 傅谦光 sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Inocencio Veronica skillfully saved the ball. Rafaela FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
