In the 40th minute the ball was on its way in behind Errecaborda AFC's goalkeeper Edmond Verdun, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 44 minutes, Emílio Terra mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Errecaborda AFC and the America Futebol Clube SP players grew even worse after the yellow card. America Futebol Clube SP's Jeronimo Rico was substituted for Iago Bala. A throw-in in the 56th minute of the game was made by Valko De Hond with Prospero Jerardo as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. When Pastor Ado fell near the penalty area in the 56th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Errecaborda AFC's protests and gave Pastor Ado a yellow card for diving instead. Edmond Verdun didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jeronimo Rico went, in the 58th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. Stefan Rasiak showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emílio Terra, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. In the 73rd minute Jeronimo Rico shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edmond Verdun saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
