Alejandro Verdu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Severo Bermudo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A well-hit corner resulted in Uriel Santiago heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Ludovít Reis got a throw-in 16 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Toni Soler. A collision led to Utopía Muerta FC getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Fermin Martinez hit a great ball. After 28 played minutes F.C. AMERICAN BARÇA got a freekick which was hit by Federico Zanetti. In the 29th minute Severo Bermudo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alejandro Verdu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Utopía Muerta FC's Fermin Martinez got a free kick in the 30th minute. 32 minutes into the match, Utopía Muerta FC's goalkeeper Mano Hume had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by David Ballester. Francesc Pla got a throw-in 41 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Antoni Villarroel. Utopía Muerta FC's Severo Bermudo got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Neal Messer to make the kick off. In the 55th match minute, F.C. AMERICAN BARÇA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Antoni Villarroel to maneuver through the defense. Utopía Muerta FC's Ramón Furtado was substituted for Prudencio Ubelteso. Utopía Muerta FC's Armando Amarita was substituted for Anier Johans. After 56 played minutes F.C. AMERICAN BARÇA got a freekick which was hit by Antoni Villarroel. In the 58th minute of the match, Ramón Furtado got a very nice opportunity to score, but Alejandro Verdu was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 59th minute Braulio Hibai shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alejandro Verdu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Neal Messer recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. David Brás kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. Neal Messer took the ball and in the 74 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mano Hume. Mano Hume dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Mano Hume took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from David Ballester, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alejandro Verdu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Braulio Hibai in the 80th minute of play. Alejandro Verdu made a fantastic save in the 82nd minute, when Braulio Hibai sent off a good shot on target. Utopía Muerta FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Armando Amarita in the 91st minute. The F.C. AMERICAN BARÇA players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
