Abel Etor who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 5thth minute tested the skills of Wilhelm Galle when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Wilhelm Galle made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Herbert Lizewski in the 8th minute of play. Teodosio Claris could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 10th minute of the match, but Wilhelm Galle made a huge save. Prospero Elorri kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. Kind of Blue's Anastasios Pallini was substituted for Joel Gaxan. The supporters of Kind of Blue booed when GUTIERREZ SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Prospero Elorri didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 16th minute Sebastian Käller shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nicasio Thomas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sebastian Käller's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Nicasio Thomas read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 21st minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sebastian Käller in the 23rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nicasio Thomas prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Sebastian Käller might have been able to make a better finish in the 25th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Nicasio Thomas. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Sebastian Käller ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 28th minute the ball was on its way in behind GUTIERREZ SC's goalkeeper Nicasio Thomas, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Nicasio Thomas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sebastian Käller in the 30th minute of play. Nicasio Thomas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sebastian Käller, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. After some careless play in the GUTIERREZ SC defense, Sebastian Käller kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Nicasio Thomas. The GUTIERREZ SC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nicasio Thomas should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sebastian Käller in the 35th minute of play forced GUTIERREZ SC's goalkeeper Nicasio Thomas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 39th minute, Sebastian Käller left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Kind of Blue fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Nicasio Thomas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sebastian Käller, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Prospero Elorri made in the 43rd minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Eduardo Soriano however managed to control. Nicasio Thomas came out of the goal in the 45th minute to try and stop a shot by Kind of Blue's Sebastian Käller. But to his dismay, Sebastian Käller quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

After having played for 52 minutes, Sebastian Käller managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kind of Blue's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sebastian Käller was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Kind of Blue's Wilhelm Galle played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abel Etor in the 55th minute of play. In the 56th minute GUTIERREZ SC were awarded a corner. Teodoro Min went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Kind of Blue's goalie and right to Eduardo Soriano. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Kind of Blue's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. In the 58th minute the ball was on its way in behind GUTIERREZ SC's goalkeeper Nicasio Thomas, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 62nd minute, Sebastian Käller got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. GUTIERREZ SC's Nicasio Thomas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zhuo Ke Le in the 64th minute of play. 66 minutes into the match, Abel Etor had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Wilhelm Galle. Kind of Blue's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Abel Etor was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. Nicasio Thomas was a little too slow when Sebastian Käller got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 70th minute. The score was now 1-4. Kind of Blue made a substitution. Jonny Lagerberg replaced Anastasios Pallini. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sebastian Käller got free with Nicasio Thomas in the 73rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 75 minutes into the match, Sebastian Käller dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Nicasio Thomas, 1-5. 79 minutes into the match, Kind of Blue's Sebastian Käller sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Nicasio Thomas narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 79th play minute Sebastian Käller came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Nicasio Thomas. 1-6. A well-hit corner resulted in Epifanio Aznar heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. 89 minutes into the match, Sebastian Käller had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Nicasio Thomas. GUTIERREZ SC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Sebastian Käller was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-7. Sebastian Käller recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
