Chi-Chi Branca took the ball and in the 19 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Youri Maguet. Youri Maguet dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Başar Öztarhan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jerzy Mielak in the 23rd minute of play. Karim Decottignies hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. Başar Öztarhan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from He Gang Jian in the 31st minute of the match. Başar Öztarhan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jerzy Mielak, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 48 minutes into the match, Granville's goal looked a bit too open when He Gang Jian came free, but Başar Öztarhan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. He Gang Jian was the one to do the kick off. Başar Öztarhan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jerzy Mielak in the 56th minute of play. He Gang Jian could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 58th minute of the match, but Başar Öztarhan made a huge save. 64 minutes into the match, Granville's goalkeeper Başar Öztarhan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Luís Paulo Matorin. A collision led to Granville getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Alvar Svanér hit a great ball. Başar Öztarhan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from He Gang Jian in the 92nd minute of the match. If Ramiro Montrell had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Granville succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though klide13 had controlled the match.
