After 12 minutes of play, Club Getafe Deportivo's Curcio Carballeira made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Santos Orlan was left in no man's land by his defense there! The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Lucio Stanislao during the 17th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Jairo Castellano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Salvador Hats in the 30th minute of the match. The supporters of Club Getafe Deportivo booed when El Fortín de Floresta was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fulgencio Frances didn't get a good kick on the ball. 33 minutes into the match, Curcio Carballeira had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Santos Orlan. Santos Orlan was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Curcio Carballeira scored 5-0 in the 40th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Santos Orlan, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Curcio Carballeira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Club Getafe Deportivo's Curcio Carballeira in the 45th minute got a chance for a shot 45th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Santos Orlan made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-1. Cristo Orlan hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. 58 minutes into the match, Curcio Carballeira had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Santos Orlan. The audience thought a goal was coming when Flavio Luar got free with Jairo Castellano in the 67th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Club Getafe Deportivo's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
