In the 4thth minute of the game Thorvald Egfjord who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but C.A. Caminiaga's Hemming Tjørnum was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Hemming Tjørnum made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fulgencio Nikola in the 6th minute of play. After 8 minutes, Fulgencio Nikola made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. C.A. Caminiaga's Hemming Tjørnum tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Marciano Oidor kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. In the 15th match minute, C.A. Caminiaga was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Horacio Ranolfo to maneuver through the defense. In the 16th minute, Harry Styles got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Caminiaga fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hemming Tjørnum should have stopped the shot. In the 42nd minute Fulgencio Nikola shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hemming Tjørnum saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rodolfo Txeru hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. After having played for 47 minutes, David Rios managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Brujas KV's supporters crossed their fingers, but David Rios was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Brujas KV's Tore-Andre Flø was substituted for David Rios. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Victorino Frasco was the one to do the kick off. After 52 played minutes C.A. Caminiaga booed when Brujas KV was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Renan Duigou didn't get a good kick on the ball. Zachary Pliszka in the 89thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Zachary Pliszkas short, quick shot in the 95thth minute got Hemming Tjørnum to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in.
