Brujas KV's Adolfo Grau played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pablo Martinez in the 18th minute of play. David Rios fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ruperto Maria having to interfere. Harry Styles recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Salmuera CP's Ruperto Maria played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Thorvald Egfjord in the 26th minute of play. Adolfo Grau took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pablo Martinez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Costin Duca got free with Adolfo Grau in the 31st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Salmuera CP's Ruperto Maria played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fulgencio Nikola in the 35th minute of play. Adolfo Grau acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 40th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Torcuato Herrero. Siro Llorienzo's late challenge caught a Brujas KV's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Siro Llorienzo helped the player get up and apologised. David Rios sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Brujas KV booed when Salmuera CP was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pablo Martinez didn't get a good kick on the ball. Brujas KV's Zachary Pliszka was substituted for Fulgencio Nikola. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half.
