United Legends's defense didn't have a chance, in the 20th minute, when Elpidio Francis scored to the left of an out of position Alfred Kochowski, making the score, 2-0. When Dieguinho Godoi fell near the penalty area in the 25th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored United Legends's protests and gave Dieguinho Godoi a yellow card for diving instead. After 25 played minutes United Legends got a freekick which was hit by Dieguinho Godoi. ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA's Branislav Velchevski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edelmiro Onbera in the 28th minute of play. Branislav Velchevski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dieguinho Godoi in the 31st minute of play. United Legends were awarded a corner in the 33th minute after ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Mantvydas Balvočius took the corner. In the 34th minute Miguel Prosperi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alfred Kochowski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Elpidio Francis's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alfred Kochowski read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 36th minute of play. 37 minutes into the match, United Legends's goalkeeper Alfred Kochowski had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Elpidio Francis. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Luciano Bastiaro was the one to do the kick off. After some careless play in the ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA defense, Dieguinho Godoi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Branislav Velchevski. The ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Branislav Velchevski should have stopped the shot. Alfred Kochowski was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA's Arnaldo Gabon was substituted for Miguel Prosperi. In the 78th minute, Elpidio Francis left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-1. Alfred Kochowski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Elpidio Francis, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute.
