Juniors FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Pastor Montrell ran over to the corner to take the kick. A well-hit corner resulted in Mauro Silvino heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. In the 7th minute Karol Borowski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lázaro Colon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Karol Borowski got free with Lázaro Colon in the 8th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 10th minute Mauro Silvino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lázaro Colon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 11 minutes Juniors FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Pastor Montrell who took care of the corner kick. Emil Arendarski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Uriel Isias, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 15th minute Juniors FC were awarded a corner. Uriel Isias went to the cornerflag to take it. The supporters of C. A. Potrero booed when Juniors FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Armando Urbes didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 22nd minute Uriel Isias shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emil Arendarski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Uriel Isias in the 24th minute of play forced C. A. Potrero's goalkeeper Emil Arendarski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 26th match minute, C. A. Potrero was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pastor Montrell to maneuver through the defense. C. A. Potrero's Emil Arendarski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nicanor Porfirio in the 29th minute of play. The Juniors FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Emil Arendarski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Virgilio Satordi, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. Emil Arendarski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Uriel Isias, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Uriel Isias, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 48 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Emil Arendarski was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. The C. A. Potrero players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Juniors FC were winning 0-1.

In the 57th minute, Karol Borowski made a precise shot to the right of Lázaro Colon. Juniors FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. C. A. Potrero made a substitution. Mustafa Barış Yorangil replaced Mauro Silvino. 64 minutes had been played when some careless play by C. A. Potrero's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Uriel Isias was slow to take the kick. During this time Juniors FC's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Uriel Isias got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Emil Arendarski quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Karol Borowski spun around in front of the goal 70 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Juniors FC's goal. Prospero Furman hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. In the 77th minute, Mustafa Barış Yorangil left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The C. A. Potrero fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Armando Urbes kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. Emil Arendarski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Enrique Frasco in the 85th minute of play. After 87 played minutes C. A. Potrero got a freekick which was hit by Raimundo Santos. A hard shot 89 in the game by Enrique Frasco from a close distance when the talented Emil Arendarski managed to make a qualified save. C. A. Potrero's players were relieved. Emil Arendarski was a little too slow when Nicanor Porfirio got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 91st minute. The score was now 2-2. Roberto Vedillo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
