Steve De Wilde didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Fang Hao Jing went, in the 6th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Diogo de Souza came out of the goal in the 10th minute to try and stop a shot by Lions United's Pan Jian Yong. But to his dismay, Pan Jian Yong quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. In the 16th minute, Pan Jian Yong ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Diogo de Souza was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. In the 24th minute the ball was on its way in behind Lions United's goalkeeper Steve De Wilde, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Steve De Wilde took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Feliks Škarpa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Steve De Wilde made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Feliks Škarpa in the 29th minute of play. In the 31stth minute of the game Pan Jian Yong who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but The Glorious FC's Diogo de Souza was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Fang Hao Jing fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Steve De Wilde having to interfere. Steve De Wilde made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Feliks Škarpa in the 36th minute of play. In the 39th minute of the game Percival Siqueira made a throw-in which Tomáš Velíšek played forward. The supporters of The Glorious FC booed when Lions United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Firmo Linde didn't get a good kick on the ball. Vivaldo Carioca sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in The Glorious FC's zone, Pan Jian Yong stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Diogo de Souza came out of the goal and Pan Jian Yong tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 45 minutes into the match, Lions United's goal looked a bit too open when Feliks Škarpa came free, but Steve De Wilde reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Steve De Wilde made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pauli Pogba in the 46th minute of play.
Steve De Wilde showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Feliks Škarpa, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. In the 64th minute Pauli Pogba shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Steve De Wilde saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 68th minute Pan Jian Yong shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Diogo de Souza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Pan Jian Yong kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Diogo de Souza. That made the score 1-3 in the 70 minute of play. The Glorious FC made a substitution. Patrick Cane replaced Enzo Fernández. Diogo de Souza was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Pan Jian Yong showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-4 in the 75 minute of play. A collision led to The Glorious FC getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Percival Siqueira hit a great ball. Fang Hao Jing took the ball and in the 82 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Steve De Wilde. Steve De Wilde dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-4. Steve De Wilde made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fang Hao Jing in the 86th minute of play. In the 91st minute, The Glorious FC's Clóvis Bezerra seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Clóvis Bezerra the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of The Glorious FC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Clóvis Bezerra had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In a very dangerous position, a player in The Glorious FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 91st minute. Penalty! The Glorious FC:s Diogo de Souza showed great skill when he stopped Gao Cheng Yun:s penalty.
The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Lions United eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
