After 7 minutes, Dé Recife mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ciseski‘s and the Alibeyköy FK players grew even worse after the yellow card. İbrahim Keskinel took the ball and in the 9 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Cido Varela. Cido Varela dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Özcan Yoruç showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edmond Boureau in the 16th minute of the match. But to his dismay, Dé Recife quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. In the 27th minute, Roberto Romário left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ciseski‘s fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. After a rather tough play, Alibeyköy FK's İbrahim Keskinel got a free kick in the 32nd minute. 35 minutes into the match, Ciseski‘s's goal looked a bit too open when İbrahim Keskinel came free, but Cido Varela reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cido Varela took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sun Sang Bin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After the first half Ciseski‘s were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell İsmet Baştugay to make the kick off. Edmond Boureau fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Özcan Yoruç having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Alibeyköy FK's Tamer Süleyman got a free kick in the 93rd minute.
