The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Marcin Baszczyński sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 6th minute, ★ℜuch Chorzów★™'s Alvise Di Crescenzo ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Betão Pontes. Betão Pontes yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. GKS Katowice's defense didn't have a chance, in the 8th minute, when Alvise Di Crescenzo scored to the left of an out of position Betão Pontes, making the score, 2-0. If Marcin Baszczyński had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Betão Pontes came out of the goal in the 15th minute to try and stop a shot by ★ℜuch Chorzów★™'s Alvise Di Crescenzo. But to his dismay, Alvise Di Crescenzo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. 21 minutes into the match, Alvise Di Crescenzo notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of GKS Katowice's Betão Pontes. Betão Pontes was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 25th play minutes Alvise Di Crescenzo shot 5-0, a short shot which went by Betão Pontes and just under the crossbar into goal. Betão Pontes made a fantastic save in the 29th minute, when Cezary Duda sent off a good shot on target. Edmund Konopka showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jacek Birkenhagen in the 30th minute of the match. After 33 minutes GKS Katowice's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Cezary Duda who took care of the corner kick. Remigiusz Jaszynski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edmund Konopka having to interfere. When GKS Katowice's Olgierd Cwojdak in the 39th minute got a chance for a shot 39th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye ★ℜuch Chorzów★™'s goalie prevented a goal. Cezary Duda struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. Betão Pontes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ★ℜuch Chorzów★™. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Alvise Di Crescenzo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the game, Alvise Di Crescenzo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-0. Betão Pontes was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When the match had gone on for 54 minutes, Alvise Di Crescenzo put it in 7-0 from a short distance just to the right of Betão Pontes. ★ℜuch Chorzów★™'s Joos Van den Haute was substituted for Tomasz Fosaa. ★ℜuch Chorzów★™ made a substitution. Tomasz Wojtowicz replaced Marcin Baszczyński. A throw-in in the 58th minute of the game was made by Jacek Birkenhagen with Cezary Kasiewski as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. GKS Katowice's Lucjan Werra got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 63 minutes into the game, ★ℜuch Chorzów★™'s Alvise Di Crescenzo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Betão Pontes made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 8-0. 67 minutes into the game, Alvise Di Crescenzo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 9-0. Betão Pontes was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alvise Di Crescenzo in the 70th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Betão Pontes prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 71st minute, Remigiusz Jaszynski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. GKS Katowice's Betão Pontes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alvise Di Crescenzo in the 72nd minute of play. Alvise Di Crescenzo might have been able to make a better finish in the 77th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Betão Pontes. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Alvise Di Crescenzo ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alvise Di Crescenzo in the 77th minute of play forced GKS Katowice's goalkeeper Betão Pontes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Alvise Di Crescenzo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alvise Di Crescenzo in the 80th minute of play forced GKS Katowice's goalkeeper Betão Pontes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cezary Duda took the ball and in the 81 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Betão Pontes. Betão Pontes dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 11-0. Betão Pontes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alvise Di Crescenzo in the 84th minute of the match. Alvise Di Crescenzo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Betão Pontes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to GKS Katowice getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Olgierd Sokolski hit a great ball. In the 88th minute, Olgierd Sokolski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alvise Di Crescenzo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. ★ℜuch Chorzów★™'s supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
