In the 2nd minute, Saturnino Nafarroa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. ★ℜuch Chorzów★™'s Edmund Konopka played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rian Giggs in the 3rd minute of play. 3 minutes into the game, Sabaneta FC's Rian Giggs nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Edmund Konopka made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Zeru Recino made in the 7th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Firman Urquizu. With his leg Kevin Mier managed to avoid a goal in the 13thth minute, when ★ℜuch Chorzów★™'s Alvise Di Crescenzo fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Edmund Konopka showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Petri Romuroso, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. Edmund Konopka took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Firman Urquizu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kevin Mier made an important save on a dangerous shot by Saturnino Nafarroa in the 20th minute. If Alvise Di Crescenzo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Kevin Mier took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alvise Di Crescenzo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alvise Di Crescenzo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Kevin Mier having to make a save. In the 32ndth minute of the game Helder Cadanes who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but ★ℜuch Chorzów★™'s Edmund Konopka was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Saturnino Nafarroa charged in rather forcefully in the 34th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Saturnino Nafarroa the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 43rd minute, David Fuentes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 44th minute, Alvise Di Crescenzo reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Kevin Mier. The goal made the score 2-1. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Rian Giggs to make the kick off. Kevin Mier showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alvise Di Crescenzo in the 53rd minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alvise Di Crescenzo in the 56th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Kevin Mier prevented the ball from getting in the gole. ★ℜuch Chorzów★™'s Tomasz Wojtowicz was substituted for Marcin Baszczyński. 65 minutes into the match, Sabaneta FC's goal looked a bit too open when Alvise Di Crescenzo came free, but Kevin Mier reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sabaneta FC made a substitution. Fabrício Prestes replaced Firman Urquizu. ★ℜuch Chorzów★™'s Pablo Erosa quite brazenly broke a throw-in by David Fuentes, made in the 68th minute of the game. In the 73rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Sabaneta FC's goalkeeper Kevin Mier, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 73 minutes into the game, ★ℜuch Chorzów★™'s Alvise Di Crescenzo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. In the 82nd minute Petri Romuroso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edmund Konopka saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alvise Di Crescenzo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Kevin Mier made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alvise Di Crescenzo in the 84th minute of play. Edmund Konopka made an important save on a dangerous shot by Petri Romuroso in the 85th minute.
