After 12 played minutes, Hogwarts's Derlis Florentin shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Betão Pontes came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Hogwarts reached it. After a defensive mix-up in GKS Katowice's zone, Poroso Alaiza stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Betão Pontes came out of the goal and Poroso Alaiza tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fabricio Llerena in the 19th minute of play forced GKS Katowice's goalkeeper Betão Pontes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fabricio Llerena's late challenge caught a GKS Katowice's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fabricio Llerena helped the player get up and apologised. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Poroso Alaiza during the 22nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Poroso Alaiza hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Derlis Florentin stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Hogwarts getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Kaviedes Bonvehi hit a great ball. With a little luck, Hogwarts's Agustín Barquerin got control of the ball when Lucjan Werra tried to sneak it across the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Derlis Florentin in the 57th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Betão Pontes saved GKS Katowice from getting behind. Tytus Karwowski charged in rather forcefully in the 63rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tytus Karwowski the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to GKS Katowice getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Tytus Karwowski hit a great ball. If Fabricio Llerena had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Agustín Barquerin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cezary Kasiewski in the 71st minute of play. Lucjan Werra scored 2-2 in the 72nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Agustín Barquerin, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. GKS Katowice's Ludomir Zacharek was substituted for Cezary Kasiewski. In the 89th minute, GKS Katowice's Lucjan Werra dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-3. In the 92nd minute, Lucjan Werra ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Agustín Barquerin was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-4. Agustín Barquerin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ludomir Zacharek in the 96th minute of the match.
