Ismael Mendes stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Grzegorz Gdaniec's shot from short distance in the 16th minute. After a rather tough play, A.K.Sh Albania's Alesandro Nesta got a free kick in the 18th minute. After having played for 18 minutes, Santiago Salcedo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Flores da Cunha - RS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Santiago Salcedo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Shpëtim Kume fell near the penalty area in the 32nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored A.K.Sh Albania's protests and gave Shpëtim Kume a yellow card for diving instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Grzegorz Gdaniec in the 36th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ismael Mendes prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ronaldão Leite made in the 38th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by A.K.Sh Albania's Bernabe Odon. Ismael Mendes came out of the goal in the 42nd minute to try and stop a shot by A.K.Sh Albania's Grzegorz Gdaniec. But to his dismay, Grzegorz Gdaniec quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Grzegorz Gdaniec struck a weak shot in the 46th minute. Ismael Mendes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for A.K.Sh Albania.

Dobromir Malkanov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elias Medeiros in the 51st minute of play. 53 minutes into the match, A.K.Sh Albania's Grzegorz Gdaniec sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ismael Mendes narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A.K.Sh Albania's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Alesandro Nesta in the 55th minute. Ismael Mendes was a little too slow when Grzegorz Gdaniec got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 59th minute. The score was now 0-2. Ismael Mendes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gregorio Mel, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. In the 71st minute of the match Santiago Salcedo shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Dobromir Malkanov showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 74 minutes into the match, Flores da Cunha - RS's goal looked a bit too open when Martin Bacalbașa came free, but Ismael Mendes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to A.K.Sh Albania getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Nertil Ramos hit a great ball. Ismael Mendes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gregorio Mel, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. 84 minutes into the game, Ronaldão Leite threw the ball into play from the sideline. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. A.K.Sh Albania walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
