Hogwarts's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Pegasas Siauliai the free kick. In the 13th match minute, Hogwarts was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arturo Agudo to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 19 minutes, Artemio Quiroga managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Pegasas Siauliai's supporters crossed their fingers, but Artemio Quiroga was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Agustín Barquerin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Miromir Bilicki in the 20th minute of the match. Agustín Barquerin stood somewhat misplaced when Artemio Quiroga came free in front of goal and shot 2-0 to the left of him in the 23 minute. Artemio Quiroga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Artemio Quiroga got free with Agustín Barquerin in the 28th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. FC Pegasas Siauliai's Pavel Romanescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Derlis Florentin in the 30th minute of play. A collision led to FC Pegasas Siauliai getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Arvydas Zaveckas hit a great ball. 42 minutes into the match, Hogwarts's goalkeeper Agustín Barquerin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Artemio Quiroga. Agustín Barquerin made a fantastic save in the 44th minute, when Artemio Quiroga sent off a good shot on target. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Derlis Florentin was the one to do the kick off. 51 minutes into the game, Humberto Udaeta was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Agustín Barquerin was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Artemio Quiroga's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Agustín Barquerin read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 57th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Artemio Quiroga in the 83rd minute of play forced Hogwarts's goalkeeper Agustín Barquerin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Agustín Barquerin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Artemio Quiroga in the 86th minute of play.
