The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Grzegorz Gdaniec could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 3rd minute of the match, but Betão Pontes made a huge save. Grzegorz Gdaniec might have been able to make a better finish in the 4th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Betão Pontes. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Grzegorz Gdaniec ran back to his position shaking his head. GKS Katowice's Betão Pontes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Grzegorz Gdaniec in the 4th minute of play. In the 6th minute, Grzegorz Gdaniec reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Betão Pontes. The goal made the score 1-0. The supporters of GKS Katowice booed when A.K.Sh Albania was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Shpëtim Kume didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lucjan Werra struck a weak shot in the 10th minute. Dobromir Malkanov didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for GKS Katowice. A.K.Sh Albania's Nertil Ramos managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Dominik Brysz in the 11 minute of the game. The supporters of GKS Katowice booed when A.K.Sh Albania was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Shpëtim Kume didn't get a good kick on the ball. Betão Pontes made an important save on a dangerous shot by Grzegorz Gdaniec in the 15th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Wlodzimierz Brytan during the 16th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 16th match minute, GKS Katowice was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wlodzimierz Brytan to maneuver through the defense. Betão Pontes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gregorio Mel, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. Betão Pontes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gregorio Mel in the 21st minute of the match. A collision led to GKS Katowice getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Wlodzimierz Brytan hit a great ball. The supporters of GKS Katowice booed when A.K.Sh Albania was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nertil Ramos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dobromir Malkanov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cezary Kasiewski in the 32nd minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lucjan Werra in the 33rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dobromir Malkanov saved A.K.Sh Albania from getting behind. 36 minutes into the match, Gregorio Mel dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Betão Pontes, 3-0. Betão Pontes didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Grzegorz Gdaniec went, in the 42nd minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. The A.K.Sh Albania fans' excitement grew in the 48th match minute when A.K.Sh Albania's Gregorio Mel looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 6-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Af the end of the first half the score was 6-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Dominik Brysz got a throw-in 54 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Lucjan Werra. The throw-in from Dominik Brysz in the 59th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by A.K.Sh Albania's Nertil Ramos. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Grzegorz Gdaniec in the 61st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Betão Pontes prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Through an outstanding action, after 62 minutes, Dobromir Malkanov successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Betão Pontes came out of the goal in the 63rd minute to try and stop a shot by A.K.Sh Albania's Gregorio Mel. But to his dismay, Gregorio Mel quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-0. Grzegorz Gdaniec scored 8-0 in the 67th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Betão Pontes, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Dobromir Malkanov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cezary Kasiewski, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. The A.K.Sh Albania fans' excitement grew in the 76th match minute when A.K.Sh Albania's Grzegorz Gdaniec looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 9-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Betão Pontes came out of the goal in the 80th minute to try and stop a shot by A.K.Sh Albania's Grzegorz Gdaniec. But to his dismay, Grzegorz Gdaniec quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 10-0. A.K.Sh Albania's Nertil Ramos quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Zbyszko Kasiewski, made in the 84th minute of the game. Grzegorz Gdaniec's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Betão Pontes read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 86th minute of play. The A.K.Sh Albania fans' excitement grew in the 88th match minute when A.K.Sh Albania's Grzegorz Gdaniec looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 11-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 93rd minute Grzegorz Gdaniec shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Betão Pontes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match clock showed 95 minutes, the score became 12-0 when Grzegorz Gdaniec sped through GKS Katowice's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Betão Pontes. Grzegorz Gdaniec fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 98th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Betão Pontes having to interfere.
