Doriva de Andrade could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 5th minute of the match, but Vladimir Neves made a huge save. Mala FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SERRANO the free kick. Mala FC's Vladimir Neves played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Doriva de Andrade in the 28th minute of play. Samuel Dante fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fiori Galvão having to interfere. Dida Falcão kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. Virgílio Arósio was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 41st played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Virgílio Arósio stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The supporters of SERRANO booed when Mala FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Laerte da Mata didn't get a good kick on the ball.
