When the match had gone on for 5 minutes, Ediberto da Silveira took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Vladimir Neves to make any attempt to save it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Iuri Netto in the 8th minute of play forced Mala FC's goalkeeper Vladimir Neves to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 10th match minute, Mala FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dida Falcão to maneuver through the defense. Ediberto da Silveira was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 14th minute. A. A. Carioca 【CIMZ】's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Vladimir Neves took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Waldir Almeida, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 16 minutes Mala FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Iuri Netto who took care of the corner kick. A. A. Carioca 【CIMZ】's Iuri Netto was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Vladimir Neves in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Ediberto da Silveira might have been able to make a better finish in the 17th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Vladimir Neves. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ediberto da Silveira ran back to his position shaking his head. Mala FC's Vladimir Neves proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 21st minute of the match, managed to save Mala FC from getting a goal against them. After 22 played minutes Mala FC got a freekick which was hit by Inácio Sampaio. After 26 minutes of play, A. A. Carioca 【CIMZ】's Ediberto da Silveira made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Vladimir Neves was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 28 played minutes A. A. Carioca 【CIMZ】 got a freekick which was hit by Paulão Siqueira. After 30 minutes, Adalberto Albuquerque mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Mala FC and the A. A. Carioca 【CIMZ】 players grew even worse after the yellow card. A. A. Carioca 【CIMZ】's Jerônimo de Toledo was substituted for Jorginho Galvão. After 31 played minutes Mala FC got a freekick which was hit by Adalberto Albuquerque. After a rather tough play, Mala FC's Samuel Dante got a free kick in the 33rd minute. When Iuri Netto came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the A. A. Carioca 【CIMZ】 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Iuri Netto couldn't finish the play. Mala FC's Vladimir Neves played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ediberto da Silveira in the 39th minute of play. If Iuri Netto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Ediberto da Silveira came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the A. A. Carioca 【CIMZ】 fans jumped to their feet. In the 44th match minute, Mala FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Maurinho Jacinto to maneuver through the defense. Mala FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 46th minute, when Ediberto da Silveira scored to the left of an out of position Vladimir Neves, making the score, 3-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Iuri Netto to strike the kick off in the second half. After 53 minutes of play, A. A. Carioca 【CIMZ】's Ediberto da Silveira made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Vladimir Neves was left in no man's land by his defense there! Mala FC's Vladimir Neves played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Iuri Netto in the 56th minute of play. Waldir Almeida sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Waldir Almeida recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Samuel Dante kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. Vladimir Neves didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ediberto da Silveira went, in the 68th minute, to the upper right corner, 6-0 was the resulting score. In the 72nd minute, Dalmo Pirani hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Vladimir Neves made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Iuri Netto in the 74th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Paulão Siqueira's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Vladimir Neves was relentless in the 76th minute of the game. In the 77th minute A. A. Carioca 【CIMZ】 were awarded a corner. Iuri Netto went to the cornerflag to take it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ediberto da Silveira in the 79th minute of play forced Mala FC's goalkeeper Vladimir Neves to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 85th minute, Iuri Netto left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The A. A. Carioca 【CIMZ】 fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 7-0. Iuri Netto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Vladimir Neves tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ediberto da Silveira scored 8-0 in the 90th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Vladimir Neves, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Waldir Almeida took the ball and in the 94 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Vladimir Neves. Vladimir Neves dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 9-0. When the referee ended the match the A. A. Carioca 【CIMZ】 players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
