Edmundo Mineiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eliseu Alagoano, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. Wilson Matorin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 7th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 7th minute, Eliseu Alagoano ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Edmundo Mineiro was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Edmundo Mineiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wilson Matorin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Al-Fajuth's Édouard Mendy proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 14th minute of the match, managed to save Al-Fajuth from getting a goal against them. The supporters of Al-Fajuth booed when Irreal Madrid was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edmundo Mineiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 66 minutes into the game, Eliseu Alagoano lined in a short shot 0-6 behind a frustrated Edmundo Mineiro. After 69 minutes of play, Al-Fajuth's Eliseu Alagoano made it 0-7 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Edmundo Mineiro was left in no man's land by his defense there! With his leg Edmundo Mineiro managed to avoid a goal in the 74thth minute, when Al-Fajuth's Wilson Matorin fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After 78 played minutes Al-Fajuth got a freekick which was hit by Célio Albuquerque. Irreal Madrid's William Couto was substituted for Dráusio Domingues. Irreal Madrid made a substitution. An unexpectedly hard shot by William Couto in the 81st minute of play forced Al-Fajuth's goalkeeper Édouard Mendy to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rômulo Soares blasted a shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Edmundo Mineiro having to make a save. The crowd rose to their feet as Al-Fajuth's Eliseu Alagoano slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Edmundo Mineiro. That made the score 0-9 after 94 minutes of play. Al-Fajuth's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
