Afonso Paraíba lost his temper 11 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. The supporters of CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA booed when Clube do Remo MZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Afonso Paraíba didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dieguinho Favoretto struck a weak shot in the 13th minute. Claudinho Leite didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA. Claudinho Leite showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Giovani Maia, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. In the 26th match minute, CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aílton Neto to maneuver through the defense. Davi Tande made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luiz Fernando Pena in the 27th minute of play. 30 minutes into the match, Luiz Fernando Pena dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Davi Tande, 1-0. 33 minutes into the match, CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA's goal looked a bit too open when Luiz Fernando Pena came free, but Davi Tande reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Davi Tande took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Walmyr Dionísio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA's Davi Tande played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luiz Fernando Pena in the 47th minute of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Luiz Fernando Pena stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Benjamin Tande received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Davi Tande tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Clube do Remo MZ's Claudinho Leite proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 57th minute of the match, managed to save Clube do Remo MZ from getting a goal against them. 58 minutes into the game, Benjamin Tande was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. The audience was convinced that Luiz Fernando Pena's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Davi Tande was relentless in the 62nd minute of the game. Davi Tande showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luiz Fernando Pena in the 64th minute of the match. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Clube do Remo MZ's Claudinho Leite proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 95th minute of the match, managed to save Clube do Remo MZ from getting a goal against them. When the referee ended the match the Clube do Remo MZ players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
