In the 37th minute Dráusio Domingues shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sérgio de Azevedo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 40 minutes into the game, Aílton Magalhães cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1.
