With a left leg Adelino Reis saved OZONTECK from getting behind. Pedrinho Guimarães made a fantastic save in the 23rd minute, when Artur da Fonseca sent off a good shot on target. Benedito Mineiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adelino Reis having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Benedito Mineiro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Castanheiro SC's supporters rose to their feet, but Benedito Mineiro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Adelino Reis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Umberto Dionísio stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Benedito Mineiro's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 57thth minute, Adelino Reis skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Adelino Reis was out of position in the 58 minute of play, and Benedito Mineiro capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Benedito Mineiro really showed his touch with that goal: 1-4. Umberto Dionísio might have been able to make a better finish in the 63rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Adelino Reis.
