Célio do Valle took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wieslaw Kolano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Flávio Matos hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. In the 11th minute of the match Özbek İltay sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Célio do Valle skillfully saved the ball. La Git!'s Oktay Kahveci got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Célio do Valle took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wieslaw Kolano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Wieslaw Kolano in the 28th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Célio do Valle prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 32 minutes into the game, Felippe Miranda was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Xapetuba Futebol Clube's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave La Git! the free kick. After a rather tough play, Xapetuba Futebol Clube's Felippe Miranda got a free kick in the 32nd minute. In the 34th minute the ball was on its way in behind Xapetuba Futebol Clube's goalkeeper Célio do Valle, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. La Git!'s attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Özbek İltay in the 36th minute. Célio do Valle made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wieslaw Kolano in the 38th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wieslaw Kolano in the 41st minute of play forced Xapetuba Futebol Clube's goalkeeper Célio do Valle to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marcelo Coutinho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Duman Temizcan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Célio do Valle showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wieslaw Kolano in the 46th minute of the match. After the first half La Git! were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

La Git! made a substitution. Leopoldo Manta replaced Wieslaw Kolano. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Leopoldo Manta stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Célio do Valle made a fantastic save in the 54th minute, when Leopoldo Manta sent off a good shot on target. At last the ball reached Leopoldo Manta at the corner, ending with a kick to difficult to stop for the goalkeeper of Xapetuba Futebol Clube. 0-3. After 63 minutes, Demircan Nadi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the La Git! and the Xapetuba Futebol Clube players grew even worse after the yellow card. If Laerte Ramalho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Leopoldo Manta received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Célio do Valle came out and tried to block the shot, but Leopoldo Manta slotted it home off the left post making it 0-4 in the 67th minute. In the 71st minute Laerte Ramalho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Duman Temizcan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Laerte Ramalho's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Duman Temizcan was relentless in the 73rd minute of the game. In the 73rd minute, Demircan Nadi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some careless play in the Xapetuba Futebol Clube defense, Leopoldo Manta kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Célio do Valle. Célio do Valle showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leopoldo Manta in the 97th minute of the match. When the match was over La Git! could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Xapetuba Futebol Clube throughout the match.
