After 5 played minutes Xapetuba Futebol Clube got a freekick which was hit by Marcelo Coutinho. Danilo Dionísio kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. In the 7th minute Mario Hever shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Célio do Valle saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Xapetuba Futebol Clube booed when Deportivo Mukenio was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mario Hever didn't get a good kick on the ball. Martin Budín might have been able to make a better finish in the 18th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Célio do Valle. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Martin Budín ran back to his position shaking his head. Xapetuba Futebol Clube's Célio do Valle proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 21st minute of the match, managed to save Xapetuba Futebol Clube from getting a goal against them. 21 minutes into the match, Xapetuba Futebol Clube's goalkeeper Célio do Valle had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ramon Rius. The supporters of Xapetuba Futebol Clube booed when Deportivo Mukenio was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jean-Pierre Pogba didn't get a good kick on the ball. Célio do Valle came out of the goal in the 35th minute to try and stop a shot by Deportivo Mukenio's Martin Budín. Xapetuba Futebol Clube's Danilo Dionísio got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Danilo Dionísio fell near the penalty area in the 44th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Xapetuba Futebol Clube's protests and gave Danilo Dionísio a yellow card for diving instead. Danilo Dionísio kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

After 52 minutes of play, Deportivo Mukenio's Ramon Rius made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Célio do Valle was left in no man's land by his defense there! Célio do Valle took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Martin Budín, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 58 minutes Xapetuba Futebol Clube's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Mario Hever who took care of the corner kick. Jean-Pierre Pogba scored 4-0 in the 72nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Célio do Valle, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ramon Rius in the 75th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Célio do Valle saved Xapetuba Futebol Clube from getting behind. In the 77th minute Ramon Rius shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Célio do Valle saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Célio do Valle came out of the goal in the 78th minute to try and stop a shot by Deportivo Mukenio's Martin Budín. But to his dismay, Martin Budín quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. 81 minutes into the match, Martin Budín notched a goal, 6-0, to the right of Xapetuba Futebol Clube's Célio do Valle. Célio do Valle was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Célio do Valle took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jean-Pierre Pogba, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
