The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 2 played minutes CİMBOMBOM got a freekick which was hit by Marcos Prestes. Alp Koral took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Xie Shu Tian, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 13 played minutes CİMBOMBOM got a freekick which was hit by Erkan Usal. Alp Koral showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Xie Shu Tian, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. Pecém's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Ibon Obeso in the 15th minute. It was a well-played corner which Lucio Austin managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Fábio Pessoa made a kick off. Denílson Leão showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fábio Pessoa in the 51st minute of the match. 53 minutes into the match, Pecém's goal looked a bit too open when Fábio Pessoa came free, but Denílson Leão reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Xie Shu Tian's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Alp Koral was relentless in the 56th minute of the game. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sezen Arısal in the 68th minute of play forced Pecém's goalkeeper Denílson Leão to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 71 minutes into the match, Pecém's goal looked a bit too open when Çakabey Olcaytu came free, but Denílson Leão reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Pecém eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
