In the 9th minute Stanislaw Walczak shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alp Koral saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 12 minutes into the match, Olympique Gdynia's goalkeeper Tanek Ostrowski had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Fábio Pessoa. Erkan Usal could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 14th minute of the match, but Tanek Ostrowski made a huge save. Olympique Gdynia's Tanek Ostrowski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fábio Pessoa in the 17th minute of play. Alp Koral took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stanislaw Walczak, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stanislaw Walczak in the 22nd minute of play forced CİMBOMBOM's goalkeeper Alp Koral to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tanek Ostrowski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sezen Arısal in the 23rd minute of play. Alp Koral took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Şota Arveladze, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 29 minutes into the match, Olympique Gdynia's goal looked a bit too open when Erkan Usal came free, but Tanek Ostrowski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Stanislaw Walczak's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alp Koral read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 31st minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in CİMBOMBOM's zone, Şota Arveladze stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alp Koral came out of the goal and Şota Arveladze tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 35 minutes into the match, CİMBOMBOM's goal looked a bit too open when Stanislaw Walczak came free, but Alp Koral reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 36 minutes into the game, Şota Arveladze cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Alp Koral was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. CİMBOMBOM's Sezen Arısal got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The CİMBOMBOM players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Olympique Gdynia were winning 1-3.

The Olympique Gdynia fans' excitement grew in the 51st match minute when Olympique Gdynia's Stanislaw Walczak looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-4 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 54 minutes into the game, Şota Arveladze lined in a short shot 1-5 behind a frustrated Alp Koral. Stanislaw Walczak blasted a shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Alp Koral having to make a save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Stanislaw Walczak in the 67th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alp Koral prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Fábio Pessoa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Tanek Ostrowski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alp Koral made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stanislaw Walczak in the 71st minute of play. When Yaşar Sebuktekin fell near the penalty area in the 77th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored CİMBOMBOM's protests and gave Yaşar Sebuktekin a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, CİMBOMBOM's Yaşar Sebuktekin got a free kick in the 77th minute. Stanislaw Walczak struck a weak shot in the 78th minute. Alp Koral didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Olympique Gdynia. Alp Koral was a little too slow when Stanislaw Walczak got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 79th minute. The score was now 1-8. After 83 minutes Olympique Gdynia's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Çakabey Olcaytu who took care of the corner kick. A well-hit corner resulted in Erkan Usal heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Olympique Gdynia eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
