In the 18th minute, Kind of Blue's Joel Gaxan ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Denílson Leão. Denílson Leão yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Kind of Blue made a substitution. Anastasios Pallini replaced Joel Gaxan. A sloppy throw-in by Joakim Haegg in the 23rd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Pecém's Cristiano Andrade. Kind of Blue's attentive Östen Högman managed to snatch the ball when Luca Schroeder made a throw-in in the 26th minute of the game. With a little luck, Pecém's Denílson Leão got control of the ball when Sebastian Käller tried to sneak it across the goal line. Denílson Leão dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. 63 minutes into the match, Kind of Blue's goal looked a bit too open when Nicuşor Nebunu came free, but Wilhelm Galle reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Wilhelm Galle took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Xie Shu Tian, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Xie Shu Tian in the 67th minute of play forced Kind of Blue's goalkeeper Wilhelm Galle to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 72ndth minute of the game Sebastian Käller who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Pecém's Denílson Leão was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The Kind of Blue fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. 89 minutes into the match, Sebastian Käller had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Denílson Leão. Pecém's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Sebastian Käller was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. In the 93rd minute Xie Shu Tian shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wilhelm Galle saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. For all the effort they put into the match, the Pecém players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Kind of Blue.
