The referee ignored Kind of Blue's protests and gave Joel Barbosa a yellow card for diving instead. The referee gave Leon Sport Club a penalty, 21 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Ingvar Kollberg, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Kind of Blue's Wilhelm Galle. 1-2. After some careless play in the Leon Sport Club defense, Sebastian Käller kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Erasmo Urbez. The Leon Sport Club fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Erasmo Urbez should have stopped the shot. With a little luck, Kind of Blue's Wilhelm Galle got control of the ball when Valdo Prado tried to sneak it across the goal line. Erasmo Urbez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sebastian Käller, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Valdo Prado hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. After 32 minutes of play, Kind of Blue's Sebastian Käller made it 1-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Erasmo Urbez was left in no man's land by his defense there! Sebastian Käller's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Erasmo Urbez read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 36th minute of play. 38 minutes into the match, Kind of Blue's Sebastian Käller sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Erasmo Urbez narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 41st minute Sebastian Käller shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erasmo Urbez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 43rd minute Kind of Blue were awarded a corner. Joacim Hansson went to the cornerflag to take it. Zhuo Ke Le was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. 47 minutes into the game, Kind of Blue's Zhuo Ke Le nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Erasmo Urbez made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-5. After the first half Kind of Blue were leading 1-5. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Sebastian Käller was the one to do the kick off. Leon Sport Club's defense didn't have a chance, in the 52nd minute, when Sebastian Käller scored to the left of an out of position Erasmo Urbez, making the score, 1-6. Sebastian Käller blasted a shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Erasmo Urbez having to make a save. Erasmo Urbez made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sebastian Käller in the 62nd minute. 63 minutes into the match, Kind of Blue's goal looked a bit too open when Valdo Prado came free, but Wilhelm Galle reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Erasmo Urbez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sebastian Käller, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. Oswaldo Talavera kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. Sebastian Käller showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-8. Sebastian Käller scored 1-9 in the 88th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Erasmo Urbez, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Sebastian Käller recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Oswaldo Talavera hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Kind of Blue had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
