An unexpectedly hard shot by Ludwig Kloots in the 8th minute of play forced KOCAELİSPOR's goalkeeper Şemsettin Tuyuğ to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 9th minute 龚康松 shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Şemsettin Tuyuğ saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Carel Van de Schrieck showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ömer Demirci, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ömer Demirci in the 13th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Carel Van de Schrieck saved Café DE PLOEG from getting behind. Şemsettin Tuyuğ showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from 龚康松 in the 15th minute of the match. Café DE PLOEG's defense didn't have a chance, in the 18th minute, when Ömer Demirci scored to the left of an out of position Carel Van de Schrieck, making the score, 1-0. In the 25th minute the ball was on its way in behind Café DE PLOEG's goalkeeper Carel Van de Schrieck, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. KOCAELİSPOR's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Peng Yang Guang in the 26th minute. Luisinho Vidal hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. Arvils Barkēvičs charged in rather forcefully in the 29th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Arvils Barkēvičs the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In a very dangerous position, a player in Café DE PLOEG fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 29th minute. Penalty! In the 30th minute, the referee gave KOCAELİSPOR a penalty. Ömer Demirci looked confident and blasted the ball into goal by the left post, totally unstoppable for Carel Van de Schrieck. 44 minutes into the match, KOCAELİSPOR's goal looked a bit too open when Brian Verhaghen came free, but Şemsettin Tuyuğ reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 46 minutes KOCAELİSPOR's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Luisinho Vidal who took care of the corner kick. Claudio Delgadillo thought of kicking away a contribution in front of goal but messed it up so badly that the ball went to the right of an astonished Şemsettin Tuyuğ, a very annoying self made goal in the 46th minute which led to 2-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when 龚康松 stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Café DE PLOEG getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Ludwig Kloots hit a great ball. KOCAELİSPOR's Şemsettin Tuyuğ played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by 龚康松 in the 57th minute of play. Şemsettin Tuyuğ took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from 龚康松, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Café DE PLOEG's zone, Ömer Demirci stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Carel Van de Schrieck came out of the goal and Ömer Demirci tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. KOCAELİSPOR's Aşır Zabit was substituted for Ömer Demirci. In the 63rd minute the ball was on its way in behind KOCAELİSPOR's goalkeeper Şemsettin Tuyuğ, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Calistrat Bulcă kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. 68 minutes into the match, KOCAELİSPOR's goal looked a bit too open when 龚康松 came free, but Şemsettin Tuyuğ reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of KOCAELİSPOR booed when Café DE PLOEG was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Calistrat Bulcă didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 71st minute, Aşır Zabit got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Luisinho Vidal made in the 73rd minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Dráusio Laguna. After 74 played minutes Café DE PLOEG got a freekick which was hit by 龚康松. In the 75thth minute of the game Aşır Zabit who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Café DE PLOEG's Carel Van de Schrieck was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 龚康松 sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 79 minutes into the match, Aşır Zabit had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Carel Van de Schrieck. Café DE PLOEG's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Aşır Zabit was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. In the 83rd minute, Aşır Zabit ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Carel Van de Schrieck was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-1. 89 minutes into the match, Ludwig Kloots notched a goal, 4-2, to the right of KOCAELİSPOR's Şemsettin Tuyuğ. Şemsettin Tuyuğ was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Carel Van de Schrieck stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Aşır Zabit's shot from short distance in the 94th minute. In the 96th minute, Ovidio Benavides hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
