ALMA GUERREIRA's Cauan Carvalho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Quirce Lamas in the 11th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Quirce Lamas got free with Cauan Carvalho in the 15th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 17 minutes into the match, Delfim Araújo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ermengol Baena. ◄◄Lucas Cerro Largo►►'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Delfim Araújo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. If Gombal Avellaneda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Quirce Lamas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Cauan Carvalho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Frits Frang kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. After some careless play in the ALMA GUERREIRA defense, Quirce Lamas kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cauan Carvalho. The ALMA GUERREIRA fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cauan Carvalho should have stopped the shot. Ermengol Baena made a fantastic save in the 84th minute, when Delfim Araújo sent off a good shot on target. Ermengol Baena made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from José San Martín in the 86th minute of play. 87 minutes into the game, Quirce Lamas cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-2. Cauan Carvalho was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Quirce Lamas struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Cauan Carvalho didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ◄◄Lucas Cerro Largo►►. An unexpectedly hard shot by Quirce Lamas in the 96th minute of play forced ALMA GUERREIRA's goalkeeper Cauan Carvalho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
