Ömer Demirci succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-0 in the 6th playminute. In the 9th minute, Ömer Demirci ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Erasmo Urbez was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Ömer Demirci struck a weak shot in the 12th minute. Erasmo Urbez didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for KOCAELİSPOR. Ömer Demirci recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 18th minute Jon Loarte shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Şemsettin Tuyuğ saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Erasmo Urbez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ömer Demirci, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Şemsettin Tuyuğ showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Valdo Prado, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. Ömer Demirci received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Erasmo Urbez came out and tried to block the shot, but Ömer Demirci slotted it home off the left post making it 3-0 in the 27th minute. In the 31st minute the ball was on its way in behind Leon Sport Club's goalkeeper Erasmo Urbez, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Erasmo Urbez made a fantastic save in the 39th minute, when Önder Ünlü sent off a good shot on target. Leon Sport Club's defense didn't have a chance, in the 48th minute, when Ömer Demirci scored to the left of an out of position Erasmo Urbez, making the score, 4-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.

Şemsettin Tuyuğ showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jon Loarte in the 55th minute of the match. Ömer Demirci blasted a shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Erasmo Urbez having to make a save. In the 62nd minute Ömer Demirci shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erasmo Urbez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When KOCAELİSPOR's Ömer Demirci in the 64th minute got a chance for a shot 64th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Leon Sport Club's goalie prevented a goal. Erasmo Urbez stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ömer Demirci's shot from short distance in the 67th minute. When the match had gone on for 67 minutes, Ömer Demirci put it in 5-0 from a short distance just to the right of Erasmo Urbez. In the 71st match minute, Leon Sport Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Oswaldo Talavera to maneuver through the defense. 77 minutes into the match, KOCAELİSPOR's Aşır Zabit sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Erasmo Urbez narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Oswaldo Talavera got a throw-in 80 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Jon Loarte. Aşır Zabit struck a weak shot in the 81st minute. Erasmo Urbez didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for KOCAELİSPOR. After some careless play in the Leon Sport Club defense, Aşır Zabit kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Erasmo Urbez. The Leon Sport Club fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Erasmo Urbez should have stopped the shot. After having played for 95 minutes, Aşır Zabit managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. KOCAELİSPOR's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aşır Zabit was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 96 minutes into the match, Leon Sport Club's goal looked a bit too open when Aşır Zabit came free, but Erasmo Urbez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. KOCAELİSPOR had played much better football throughout.
