MIK Focus ŽILINA's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave G-TN rest-ART the free kick. Ladislav Vališ made a fantastic save in the 11th minute, when Grigore Irod sent off a good shot on target. In the 12th minute Jarne Vloeberghs shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Steve De Wyngaert saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 15 minutes, Grigore Irod made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. MIK Focus ŽILINA's Ladislav Vališ tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 19th minute G-TN rest-ART were awarded a corner. Ziemowit Majorski went to the cornerflag to take it. A well-hit corner resulted in Andrej Buday heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. In the 21st minute Bengt-Arne Glad shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Steve De Wyngaert saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ladislav Vališ made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Grigore Irod in the 23rd minute of play. In the 26th minute Grigore Irod shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ladislav Vališ saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in MIK Focus ŽILINA's zone, Ziemowit Majorski stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ladislav Vališ came out of the goal and Ziemowit Majorski tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Steve De Wyngaert took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jarne Vloeberghs, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Kenny Norberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With his leg Ladislav Vališ managed to avoid a goal in the 35thth minute, when G-TN rest-ART's Grigore Irod fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Richard Kňazovický in the 39th minute of play forced G-TN rest-ART's goalkeeper Steve De Wyngaert to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Grigore Irod in the 40th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ladislav Vališ prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kenny Norberg in the 42nd minute of play forced MIK Focus ŽILINA's goalkeeper Ladislav Vališ to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kenny Norberg took the ball and in the 42 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ladislav Vališ. Ladislav Vališ dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. After a rather tough play, G-TN rest-ART's Roger Velasco got a free kick in the 45th minute. After 47 played minutes G-TN rest-ART got a freekick which was hit by Grigore Irod. A collision led to G-TN rest-ART getting a freekick after 48 minutes play. Grigore Irod hit a great ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Grigore Irod made the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, MIK Focus ŽILINA's goal looked a bit too open when Andrej Buday came free, but Ladislav Vališ reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 52nd minute, Andrej Buday left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The G-TN rest-ART fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. MIK Focus ŽILINA's Ladislav Vališ played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ziemowit Majorski in the 56th minute of play. 57 minutes into the match, MIK Focus ŽILINA's goal looked a bit too open when Ziemowit Majorski came free, but Ladislav Vališ reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. MIK Focus ŽILINA's Ladislav Vališ played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andrej Buday in the 59th minute of play. 60 minutes into the match, G-TN rest-ART's goal looked a bit too open when Ben Macrez came free, but Steve De Wyngaert reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match had gone on for 70 minutes, Bengt-Arne Glad took a quick shot and it went in 3-1 without a chance for Steve De Wyngaert to make any attempt to save it. The audience was convinced that Grigore Irod's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ladislav Vališ was relentless in the 73rd minute of the game. 74 minutes into the match, MIK Focus ŽILINA's goal looked a bit too open when Teofil Budrewicz came free, but Ladislav Vališ reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Grigore Irod's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ladislav Vališ was relentless in the 76th minute of the game. Ziemowit Majorski was slow to take the kick. During this time G-TN rest-ART's players had a chance to rest. It was a well-played corner which Pál Szabó managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Grigore Irod in the 85th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ladislav Vališ prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 93rdth minute of the game Grigore Irod who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but MIK Focus ŽILINA's Ladislav Vališ was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Jarne Vloeberghs sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. For all the effort they put into the match, the MIK Focus ŽILINA players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for G-TN rest-ART.
