Steve De Wyngaert was a little too slow when Tomáš Semenník got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 9th minute. The score was now 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Grigore Irod in the 16th minute of play forced FC Melon's goalkeeper Ján Tuleja to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 16th minute, Tomáš Semenník hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, G-TN rest-ART's Steve De Wyngaert got control of the ball when Tomáš Semenník tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of G-TN rest-ART booed when FC Melon was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lukáš Hučka didn't get a good kick on the ball. FC Melon's Ján Tuleja played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kenny Norberg in the 26th minute of play. Kenny Norberg charged in rather forcefully in the 32nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Kenny Norberg the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 35th minute, Grigore Irod ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ján Tuleja was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. In the 38th minute, FC Melon's Matej Adamec dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-1. Erik Žitňár came free with the goalkeeper in the 40th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Steve De Wyngaert could save by the left post. Grigore Irod fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ján Tuleja having to interfere. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

In the 52nd match minute, G-TN rest-ART was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Matúš Zvijač to maneuver through the defense. Steve De Wyngaert showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomáš Semenník, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. FC Melon's Matej Adamec got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. FC Melon made a substitution. Vladimír Madeja replaced Tomáš Semenník. After a rather tough play, G-TN rest-ART's Kenny Norberg got a free kick in the 64th minute. A collision led to G-TN rest-ART getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Roger Velasco hit a great ball. 66 minutes into the match, G-TN rest-ART's goal looked a bit too open when Matej Adamec came free, but Steve De Wyngaert reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vladimír Madeja in the 70th minute of play forced G-TN rest-ART's goalkeeper Steve De Wyngaert to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Grigore Irod got free with Ján Tuleja in the 78th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A hard shot 79 in the game by Grigore Irod from a close distance when the talented Ján Tuleja managed to make a qualified save. FC Melon's players were relieved. An unexpectedly hard shot by Grigore Irod in the 80th minute of play forced FC Melon's goalkeeper Ján Tuleja to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Steve De Wyngaert showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomáš Malý in the 82nd minute of the match. Grigore Irod could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 85th minute of the match, but Ján Tuleja made a huge save. Ján Tuleja took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Grigore Irod, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Grigore Irod's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ján Tuleja was relentless in the 88th minute of the game. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Matej Adamec in the 90th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Steve De Wyngaert saved G-TN rest-ART from getting behind. Grigore Irod could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 91st minute of the match, but Ján Tuleja made a huge save. With a little luck, FC Melon's Ján Tuleja got control of the ball when Grigore Irod tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 96th minute Matej Adamec shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Steve De Wyngaert saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
