An unexpectedly hard shot by Ibai Koldobika in the 19th minute of play forced MIK Focus ŽILINA's goalkeeper Ladislav Vališ to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 19 minutes into the match, Ibai Koldobika had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ladislav Vališ. MIK Focus ŽILINA's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ibai Koldobika was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Ladislav Vališ showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ondrej Poliovka, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ivan Erdődy made a kick off. Stancho Basarov went to the cornerflag to take it. It was a well-played corner which Ben Macrez managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. 63 minutes into the match, MIK Focus ŽILINA's goalkeeper Ladislav Vališ had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ondrej Poliovka. 65 minutes into the game, Ibai Koldobika recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Ladislav Vališ. Ibai Koldobika showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-3. In the 69th minute Ivan Erdődy shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gabriel Černoch saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ibai Koldobika got free with Ladislav Vališ in the 72nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some careless play in the ŠK Horelica defense, Ivan Erdődy kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gabriel Černoch. The ŠK Horelica fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gabriel Černoch should have stopped the shot. A hard shot 78 in the game by Ibai Koldobika from a close distance when the talented Ladislav Vališ managed to make a qualified save. MIK Focus ŽILINA's players were relieved. ŠK Horelica were awarded a corner in the 79th minute after MIK Focus ŽILINA's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Filip Seman took the corner. Lukáč Hanigovský's late challenge caught a ŠK Horelica's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lukáč Hanigovský helped the player get up and apologised. After 89 played minutes MIK Focus ŽILINA got a freekick which was hit by Lukáč Hanigovský. With a little luck, MIK Focus ŽILINA's Ladislav Vališ got control of the ball when Ondrej Poliovka tried to sneak it across the goal line. The MIK Focus ŽILINA supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching ŠK Horelica's performance. The match ended with a win for ŠK Horelica.
