But to his dismay, Pa-Dembo Bumbac quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Ivan Erdődy kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. Ladislav Vališ showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Mikla, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. Ladislav Vališ showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Mikla in the 26th minute of the match. Pa-Dembo Bumbac hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. Stano Štoch in the 33rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Ladislav Vališ, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 34th minute V.K.DRINK Hermanovce were awarded a corner. Martin Janko went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Martin Janko almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but MIK Focus ŽILINA's Ladislav Vališ did a great save. Pa-Dembo Bumbac recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Daniel Mikla who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 40thth minute tested the skills of Ladislav Vališ when he managed to save the team from getting behind. If Stano Štoch had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 44 minutes had been played when some careless play by MIK Focus ŽILINA's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Martin Janko was slow to take the kick. During this time V.K.DRINK Hermanovce's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Martin Janko got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Ladislav Vališ quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Daniel Mikla fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ladislav Vališ having to interfere. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Daniel Mikla was the one to do the kick off. After having played for 52 minutes, Daniel Kolár managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. V.K.DRINK Hermanovce's supporters crossed their fingers, but Daniel Kolár was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. V.K.DRINK Hermanovce fully deserved thier win.
